Applications are open for INNOspace Masters 2026, an international innovation competition organised by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA) and leading industry partners including Airbus, OHB and Mercedes.
Now in its 10th edition, INNOspace Masters invites companies, start-ups, research institutions and individuals from around the world to submit innovative ideas that connect space technologies with real-world challenges here on Earth.
The theme for this year’s edition is “Engage on Earth, Unite in Space – Exploring Next Level Cross-Sector Innovations.” The competition encourages cross-sector collaboration and aims to spark new research and innovation pathways by leveraging space-based technologies and expertise in areas such as sustainability, resilience and next-generation systems.
Applications are open until 25 March 2026. Participants can also benefit from advisory sessions on the competition’s challenges starting from 26 February 2026, helping them refine project ideas and strengthen proposals.
