Danube Region multilateral scientific and technological cooperation call open until 30 June 2026

The call for applications for 2027-2028 joint projects under the Multilateral Scientific and Technological Cooperation in the Danube Region is open until 30 June 2026.

The call supports scientific and technological cooperation by funding researcher mobility in the framework of joint research projects. It aims to strengthen research capacity, support cross-border cooperation, create opportunities for young and female researchers, and facilitate future participation in European research projects.

The call is open to all scientific disciplines and thematic areas, including social sciences and humanities. Projects may run for a maximum of two years, from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028.

Applications must involve researchers from a minimum of three participating partners. The participating partners listed in the call are Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovak Republic and Slovenia.

The funding primarily supports mobility, including travel, accommodation and related eligible costs. Applicants should carefully check the national eligibility rules, application procedures and funding conditions for each participating partner.

The deadline for applications is 30 June 2026. Applications received after this date will not be considered for funding.
