Short description of initiative/best practice
In the organisation of the PRONA Science Promotion Foundation, 20 talented elementary and secondary school students from Montenegro were given the opportunity to do their first scientific research work.
The event took place in Ivanova Korita, Montenegro and it was attended by the best high school students from all over the Montenegro.
UDG professors and researchers gave presentation called “Digital transformation and precision agriculture”. The talk covered IT megatrends, their role in digital transformation with a focus on agriculture and food value chain.
The presentation discussed projects in this field currently implemented in Montenegro by UDG and its partners, which included presentation of the DEMETER project.
