The Didactic Center for Excellence in Teaching (DCET) supports the professional and academic development of the staff at the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, by offering advanced services for a sustainable, transformed, and improved teaching, research, and leadership system.
DCET’s work is based on the individual needs and plans of academic personnel as well as the needs and plans of new academic personnel. Through the implementation of the philosophy of lifelong learning, DCET’s services aim to advance competencies in teaching, curriculum, leadership, preparation of didactic materials, use of equipment, e-learning, extracurricular programs, research-linked teaching, and the integration of teaching and research with community work. The operation of DCET is supported by its regulations. The functional structure of DCET, in harmony with the demands of the staff and the needs of the University, directs annual activities to support teaching excellence. In collaboration with the university management, the Center has organized a three-day training for new academic staff to prepare for the new academic year. Additionally, based on the needs of new Nursing program assistants, a three-day training has been conducted to prepare them for their practical work.
