Description of the programme / policy

UNIDO has been involved in promoting the digital transformation of industries in the Western Balkans. Through capacity-building programmes and technology adoption, UNIDO supports companies in leveraging digital technologies, such as automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, to enhance productivity, competitiveness, and innovation.

Main objective of the programme/policy

To provide comprehensive training on Industry 4.0, Innovation Management based on ISO 56002:2019, and E-Commerce for the benefit of diverse stakeholders, including developing countries, SMEs, policymakers, and individuals.

Specific objective of the programme/policy

These programmes aim to equip participants with foundational knowledge, address challenges, and leverage opportunities in these rapidly evolving domains.
