“Adriatic Biodiversity Conservation” is a transnational initiative funded by the INTERREG ADRION Joint Secretariat aimed at preserving and restoring the biodiversity of the Adriatic-Ionian region. The initiative involves the development of a network of protected areas and the promotion of sustainable land use practises in the region. The project aims to conserve and restore the region’s unique and fragile ecosystems, as well as to promote sustainable economic development in the region. The initiative involves collaboration between local and national authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders in the region.
