On the basis of the Agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the Republic of Austria on scientific and technological cooperation, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro and the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research of the Republic of Austria have announced a tender for co-financing scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries for the period 2024-2026.
Following the evaluation process of the projects from both sides, and in accordance with the established conditions and priorities of the competition and the available budget of both countries, the Joint Commission for Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Montenegro and the Republic of Austria convened on June 7, 2024, in Vienna.
The projects are scheduled to commence practical implementation on July 1, 2024, and will run until June 30, 2026. They will involve joint visits by researchers from Montenegro and the Republic of Austria, participating in collaborative research initiatives.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation will allocate €5,000.00 per project for the Montenegrin research team, while the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research will provide an equivalent amount for the Austrian research team per research year.
