Gender Equality Platform

Civil society organizations working in the field of gender equality have identified the inevitable need for joint action to promote gender equality in the Republic of Macedonia. Only through collective efforts, which include a wide range of organizations and experts united in a platform for gender equality, can significant influence be ensured on the processes of integrating gender equality into all spheres and sectors of Macedonian society.

The formation of a platform of civil society organizations and individuals will contribute to the advancement of gender equality and equity by promoting and elevating political will, forming partnerships among stakeholders in civil society, building capacities, and sharing best practices.

Among other things, this platform will unite the expertise and experience of civil society on gender equality through continuous monitoring and identifying opportunities for influencing policies at both local and national levels, with the aim of ensuring the implementation of international and domestic legal frameworks and strategic documents.
