Following the application and selection process, Montenegro has secured its first scholarship recipient to attend the College of Europe’s Tirana campus for the 2024/2025 academic year. The selected candidate, has studied at some of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions and is currently completing an internship at the European Parliament in Brussels.
The Tirana campus will focus on EU issues, European transformation, and integration.
On April 24, 2024, in Podgorica, Minister of Education, Science and Innovation and the Rector of the College of Europe, signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a scholarship scheme between the Government of Montenegro and the College of Europe. Through this scheme, the Montenegrin government has provided scholarships for Montenegrin students to attend programs at the College’s campuses in Tirana, Natolin, and Bruges. These scholarships offer Montenegrin students the opportunity to enhance their education and expertise, vital for European integration.
Through this collaboration, Montenegro aims to strengthen its academic institutions and improve its educational system. Scholarships for postgraduate studies at the College of Europe will have a lasting impact on individuals and society, promoting talent development, excellence, and long-term prosperity.
