Serbia: 2nd Public Call for Citizen Science

On 10 September 2024, a new public call for funding of citizen science research projects was opened, which is announced by the Center for the Promotion of Science, under the auspices of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of Serbia.

Due to the exceptional quality of the previous applications and the potential for the realisation of a larger number of projects in the first call, the Center for the Promotion of Science and the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation are again announcing a Public Call.

The goal of this call is a stronger connection between researchers and citizens in order to find answers to social challenges and achieve common goals, as well as recognising and encouraging the active involvement of the public in research processes. Also, the call encourages innovative approaches in scientific research work and highlights the social impact of citizen science research, especially within the framework of achieving the goals of sustainable development.
