Test Twinning Learning Programme for Cities to become Climate Neutral

NetZeroCities, which manages the EU Cities Mission’s Platform, has opened its third Call for Twin Cities to join the Cities Mission Twinning Learning Programme. City ready to embark on a transformative journey toward climate neutrality are encouraged to apply by 31 October 2024.
This initiative, part of the EU Cities Mission, supports cities outside the Mission in achieving climate neutrality through a customised learning programme. Selected Twin Cities will be paired with selected Pilot Cities from previous cohorts (https://netzerocities.eu/pilot-cities-programme/). These partnerships are based on shared challenges, opportunities, and emissions profiles.
The programme features three key modules: 1) Getting Started, 2) Co-creating, and 3) Capitalising. Together, they aim to develop a tailored Action Plan for each Twin City, leveraging innovative practices from the Pilot Cities.
Through collaborative meetings, workshops, and site visits, Twin and Pilot Cities will work together to overcome barriers and progress toward climate neutrality. Additionally, Twin Cities will receive expert guidance from NetZeroCities partners and gain access to valuable resources via the NetZeroCities Portal.
