Improvement of Learning Methods Through use of Digital Tools: Meetings and Panel Discussions Organised by ProBLeMS Project

From 1 to 4 October 2024, a series of meetings and panel discussions focused on enhancing learning methodologies through digital tools took place at the Medical Faculty of the University of Podgorica and the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro. These events were held as part of the Erasmus+ project “Development and Implementation of Metacognitive Problem-Based Modules in Blended Learning Courses in Medical Sciences – ProBLeMS.”

The gatherings brought together representatives from the Medical Faculty of East Sarajevo, the project’s coordinating institution, alongside partner faculties from Banja Luka, Innsbruck, Belgrade, Kosovska Mitrovica, Zenica, and Mostar. Additional participants included members of the Republic of Srpska Association for Biomedical Informatics and Statistics and the Ecology-Medical Expert Group. Representing the Medical Faculty of Banja Luka University were Prof. Vesna Rudić, PhD, and Assistant Professor Milkica Grabež, PhD.

The project aims to transfer advanced knowledge and expertise from the European Union to universities in the Western Balkans. Besides highlighting ongoing project activities, the event featured contributions from representatives of the Ministries of Health and Education, as well as public health experts. Collaborative efforts were outlined for the coming period to advance education in medical sciences across the region.
