The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) hosted an Info Session on the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) action. The session highlighted key updates and provided guidance on preparing a competitive proposal for the upcoming 2025 CBHE Call for Proposals.
The CBHE action supports international cooperation projects through multilateral partnerships between organisations active in higher education. Its aim is to enhance the relevance, quality, modernisation, and adaptability of higher education in third countries not associated with the Erasmus+ programme. This action contributes to socio-economic recovery, growth, and prosperity while addressing emerging global challenges, including economic globalisation, a decline in human development, and rising social, economic, and environmental inequalities.
Additionally, the Erasmus+ CBHE action aligns with broader policy objectives pursued by the European Commission in collaboration with third countries not associated with the programme, including those under the Global Gateway investment initiatives.
