EU4Green studies on Climate Change Adaptation in Agriculture in the Western Balkans

The EU4Green project published two studies providing a comprehensive overview of the current state of climate change adaptation in agriculture across the Western Balkans. Covering Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia, these studies offer valuable insights into the socio-economic context, natural resources (soil and water), and crop and livestock sectors at both the national and regional levels.

The findings are presented in two volumes:

  • Volume I: Cross-Country Synthesis Report – A comparative analysis across Western Balkan economies, highlighting key trends, challenges, and policy gaps.
  • Volume II: Economies’ Reports – A detailed assessment of each economy, focusing on country-specific developments and adaptation efforts.
