The third call of the “Challenge Fund” programme supports innovative ideas in entrepreneurship across various fields of the creative economy and technology.
EU4Innovation in Albania has organised numerous informative sessions for young people interested in applying for the third call of the “Challenge Fund”.
During an informative session attended by officials from the Albanian Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, discussions focused on the new opportunities the programme offers to start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises in Albania, supporting innovative solutions at different stages of development.
The meeting brought together over 40 participants from diverse fields, including the creative economy, technology, crafts, and tourism services, as well as professionals and entrepreneurs working on new ideas and solutions for the Albanian market.
Through the “Challenge Fund” programme, a total of 40 grants have been awarded so far, with total funding amounting to €712,552.08.
The programme funds three categories:
- Idea and Validation – €10,000 (5% co-financing)
- Growth Phase – €20,000 (20% co-financing)
- Scale-Up – €30,000 (30% co-financing)
