FINNO, also known as the Access2Finance and Innovation platform, is an online resource designed to enhance access to financial instruments and innovation support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Southeast Europe. Developed by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) consortia from six countries—Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia—FINNO serves as a one-stop shop for SMEs seeking funding solutions and aiming to expand into international markets.
The platform offers comprehensive information on various EU funding and financing programmes, including InvestEU, European Structural and Investment Funds, and initiatives by the European Investment Bank and European Investment Fund. By providing details on these programmes, FINNO assists SMEs in navigating the complex landscape of financial opportunities available within the EU framework.
In addition to financial information, FINNO facilitates direct interaction between SMEs and expert advisers from the participating countries. These advisers offer personalized services such as innovation audits, intellectual property rights advice, technology transfer guidance, support for internationalization, matchmaking services for technology and innovation, and assistance in accessing funding programmes. This tailored support aims to guide SMEs through the maze of opportunities, helping them identify the best options and save time in the process.
