EIT Climate-KIC is calling on Entrepreneurship Support Organisations (ESOs) across Europe to join an exciting new capacity-building programme designed to enhance their support for climate-focused start-ups. With up to 15 ESOs to be selected, the programme prioritises organisations based in Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) countries, reflecting Climate-KIC’s commitment to inclusive innovation across Europe.
Running from June to October 2025, this fully online programme aims to equip selected ESOs with advanced skills, tools, and methodologies needed to foster stronger, more resilient entrepreneurial ecosystems in the field of climate innovation.
ESOs play a vital role in supporting innovation-driven start-ups by offering access to mentorship, funding, education, and business development services. This new Climate-KIC initiative recognises the importance of strengthening these support systems in order to accelerate the green transition.
Participants in the programme will benefit from:
- Weekly online training modules, designed to address specific needs of the cohort.
- Sessions covering climate technical topics, alongside strategies for designing and managing effective innovation programmes.
- Peer-to-peer learning opportunities, enabling knowledge exchange and collaboration among ESOs across Europe.
