The Danube Region Programme has released a pre-announcement for its third targeted call for proposals, inviting organisations to begin preparing their project ideas ahead of the official launch.
What does “targeted” mean?
This is a targeted call, which means only project proposals that align with the specific thematic priorities outlined in the call documentation will be eligible for funding. Interested applicants are encouraged to consult the call pre-announcement for full details on the thematic scope, partnership requirements, and available budget.
Key Dates
- Call opening: Mid-September 2025
- Submission deadline: 15 December 2025
- Project start date: 1 July 2026
- Maximum project duration: 30 months
Support for Applicants
Applicants will have access to several support tools:
- Direct consultation with MA/JS priority coordinators to develop and refine project ideas
- Webinars focused on thematic priorities (dates and registration details available via the Programme’s website)
Application Guidance
While the third call is not yet officially open, Programme rules will remain the same as in previous calls. Therefore, potential applicants can refer to the Applicants Manual of the 2nd call to begin shaping their proposals in line with the expected requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to sustainable development and cooperation in the Danube region. Prospective applicants are encouraged to begin preparations early and to stay tuned for the official call launch in September.
