On 31 January 2025, Belgrade hosted the Italy–Serbia Business Forum, organised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in partnership with the ICE Agency, the Italian Embassy in Belgrade, and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
The event took place alongside the intergovernmental summit between the two countries and built on the positive outcomes of earlier forums in Belgrade (2023) and Trieste (2024).
The forum included institutional addresses, presentations of new financial instruments for cooperation, and roundtables on circular economy and energy transition, agrotechnology and Industry 5.0, and infrastructure. In the afternoon, participating Italian companies met with Serbian partners in B2B sessions to explore specific areas of collaboration.
