Production Grants for Independent Media in the Western Balkans – Second Call

The Innovation. Media. Minds. (IMM) Programme, funded by the European Union (EU), announces its second call for Production Grants. These grants aim to support independent media outlets and media organisations in the Western Balkans to promote pluralism of expression, strengthen cooperation with public service media (PSM), and enhance audience-relevant reporting.

The grants focus on topics of regional public interest, prioritised in collaboration with Western Balkan PSMs, including (but not limited to) cultural exchange and dialogue, education, rule of law, good governance, human, economic and social rights (including vulnerable groups), gender, environmental issues, and the Western Balkans’ progress on EU integration.

Eligible applicants are independent media outlets or media organisations legally established in one of the following IPA beneficiaries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia, or Serbia. Grant amounts can reach up to EUR 30,000 for project proposals lasting a maximum of 8months.
