On 8 October 2025, NASRI, in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences of Albania (ASA), organised a Horizon Europe Info Day at ASA’s premises, where it provided an overview of national and international programmes open for researchers who seek funding. Also, NASRI staff offered more specific tutorials, e.g. how to find a partner for a call through Funding and Tenders portal, and how to publish a partner search announcement. While recognising the progress of Albanian research institutions between Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, all agreed that further support for researchers and research performing organisations is needed in terms of capacity-building, financial management, and investment in research infrastructure.
