Call for Applications: EIT InfraBooster 2025

Why should you apply?

Do you manage research infrastructure with commercial potential that remains underutilized or unused? Are you wondering how to capitalize on these assets by leveraging them for commercially oriented science-industry collaborations? If so, the EIT InfraBooster Foundation training is for you!

What is EIT InfraBooster Foundation?

EIT InfraBooster is a modular training program designed for representatives of scientific organizations that own research infrastructures.

By participating, you will:

  • Leverage your existing assets, including commercially relevant research infrastructures, research teams’ skills, and knowledge.
  • Strengthen collaboration with industry, increase international exposure, and enhance the innovativeness of your institution.
  • Establish new revenue streams by offering services to businesses.

InfraBooster Foundation is the initial level of educational modules and serves as a stepping stone to the advanced InfraBooster Practitioner training. It ensures that participants adopt a standardized vocabulary and gain a solid understanding of how research infrastructures can be leveraged for science-industry collaboration. The training also helps participants identify and select the most commercially relevant infrastructures to support private-sector R&D.

EIT InfraBooster Foundation welcomes participants from diverse scientific and educational backgrounds. The recruitment and selection process is inclusive, and no prior specialized technological or marketing knowledge is required. The training is open to participants from regions covered by the Western Balkans, neighboring countries and Outermost Regions.

How will EIT InfraBooster Foundation be delivered?

The Foundation level is organised in 2025 under the rolling admission!

The training is delivered online, including participants’ asynchronous individual work, complemented by optional expert support if needed. It is run by educators and experts from the University of Warsaw.

The entire program is conducted in English – at least a working knowledge is required.
