European art practitioners are invited to apply for one of eight fully funded production residencies in Ljubljana, Prague, Tallinn, or online. Organised by Projekt Atol (Slovenia), Goethe-Institut (Germany), Izolyatsia (Ukraine), MeetFactory (Czech Republic), and Tallinn Art Hall (Estonia), this residency explores the intersection of technology, sovereignty, and artistic expression.
About the Residency
The residency focuses on the role of computation and automation in reshaping global political dynamics. As artificial intelligence and algorithmic decision-making challenge personal and national sovereignties, this programme encourages artists to critically engage with information technologies beyond their functional use.
Participants will develop new or existing artworks that respond to these themes, with final presentations at the hosting institutions and a potential exhibition at Galerie Rudolfinum in Prague.
