Cross-border Journalism Opportunity for Young People in the Western Balkans

The Crossed Perspectives call is a regional mobile journalism programme organised by CFI (Canal France International) as part of the Shared Horizons project, aimed at young people in the Western Balkans. It invites individuals aged 18–30 from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia to apply by 15 February 2026 to participate in a cross-border journalism initiative focused on disinformation and historical memory.

Selected participants will work in pairs from two different Western Balkan economies. They will receive mobile journalism (MOJO) training, travel together to a third Western Balkan, and co-produce short video stories under mentorship from local media outlets. The final productions will be published on regional media platforms and CFI’s channels. CFI covers travel, accommodation and related costs.

This call aims to encourage cross-border collaboration, enhance media skills, and explore how disinformation affects collective memory and public discourse in the region.
