The call aims to empower civil society organisations (CSOs) in Kosovo* to promote and protect human rights in the digital age, ensuring inclusive and equitable digital transformation.

Specific Goals:

  1. Use technology to monitor/report human rights violations and improve public service delivery.
  2. Foster innovative approaches for decision-making, accountability, and transparency.
  3. Strengthen partnerships between governments, CSOs, and tech companies.

Priorities:

  • Build digital skills and resilience for safe participation in online democratic spaces.
  • Inform policy decisions and enhance public service monitoring.
  • Develop platforms for citizen engagement and feedback on public services.
  • Advocate for policies supporting digital tools in human rights efforts.
  • Promote cooperation to share best practices in using technology for rights monitoring.

Context:
This call aligns with Kosovo’s Digital Agenda 2030 and the EU’s Action Plan for Democracy and Human Rights, emphasising gender equality, digital inclusion, and protection against digital harms.
