Overview:
Forward-Looking Projects are transnational, large-scale Erasmus+ initiatives aimed at developing and testing innovative approaches to education and training. These projects target solutions that could become mainstream, advancing Europe’s social cohesion and digital education priorities.
Key Focus Areas (Topics):
Proposals must address one of three key topics related to digital education:
- Assessment of Digital Skills and Competences:
- Develop methodologies for assessing digital skills in diverse education contexts.
- Reference the DigComp framework to establish consistent testing practices.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education and Training:
- Foster the ethical, inclusive, and effective adoption of AI, including generative AI.
- Enhance institutional readiness for AI implementation.
- Innovative Data Collection and Exchange:
- Create ethical and privacy-centred methods for data collection and exchange.
- Support data-driven decision-making in education.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be legal entities (public or private) active in education, training, research, or related fields.
- Partnerships should include organisations with the capacity to influence policymakers.
- Entities from Erasmus+ Programme Countries can apply; organisations from non-associated countries can participate as associated partners.
Funding & Deadline:
- Funding is provided under Erasmus+.
- Deadline for proposals: 27 May 2025, 17:00 CET.

To promote high-quality, inclusive digital education in line with the EU’s Digital Education Action Plan (2021–2027).
