GIZ Headquarters is looking for qualified experts and companies to assess climate adaptation policies, plans, and institutional readiness across the Western Balkans (WB6).

Mapping Climate Adaptation Readiness in the Western Balkans: An Assessment of Policies and Plans and the need for transboundary cooperation

The assignment is asking to:
– Analyse national adaptation frameworks and identify gaps
– Highlight opportunities for transboundary cooperation
– Provide recommendations for a Regional Adaptation Strategy under the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans

Period of assignment: November 2025 – April 2026
Application deadline for the first step (request to participate): 12 September 2025
Information about the evaluation of the requests to participate, and invitation to tender: 26 September 2025
Deadline for submission of a tender 10 October 2025
