The Eureka Network Western Balkans (LinkUp) Call 2025 was officially launched, offering a valuable opportunity for cross-border research and innovation collaboration. This call supports industry-driven, market-oriented R&D projects with high commercialisation potential.
Participating countries include Albania, Austria, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, and Türkiye. Consortia must include at least one partner from the listed Western Balkan countries. Partners from other Eureka or non-Eureka countries may also participate, provided they secure funding or self-finance in line with the call requirements.
There are no thematic restrictions, allowing applicants to propose innovative projects across all technology fields.
Applications proceed in two stages:
- Stage 1 – International application: Consortia must complete the Eureka project application form via the designated online platform by 10 September 2025 (14:00 GMT).
- Stage 2 – National application: Participants from Türkiye must also submit their national applications under the TÜBİTAK 1509 – International Industrial R&D Projects Support Program by 22 October 2025 (23:59 UTC+3). Only capital companies based in Türkiye are eligible for national funding under this programme.
Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to read the international call text carefully before submitting. Non-compliant applications may be rejected without evaluation.
