Public Call for Encouraging Innovations in the Function of Energy Efficiency

The Montenegro Innovation Fund has announced a public call for the 2024 Innovation Program aimed at promoting energy efficiency in the industrial sector. This initiative, developed in collaboration with Montenegro’s Ministries of Economic Development, Education, Science and Innovation, and Energy, is managed by the Innovation Fund.

The program’s goal is to support manufacturing sector businesses in implementing modernizations, innovations, and energy-efficient processes to boost industry competitiveness both domestically and internationally. It offers non-repayable grants, covering up to 80% of project costs, for innovative technology, equipment, digital solutions, energy management standards, and workforce training. The total program budget is €2.3 million, with individual grants ranging from €50,000 to €200,000.

Eligible participants are small to medium-sized manufacturing businesses registered in Montenegro by December 31, 2022. The application period is open from October 1 to November 11, 2024. Detailed information is available on the Innovation Fund’s website, with a presentation day scheduled for October 10 in Podgorica.
