The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) is launching the fifth edition of Balkaton, a renowned competition for digital ideas from the Western Balkans.
Balkaton 5.0 will focus on innovative ideas and solutions in various thematic areas including services, green energy, transport, tourism, and agriculture, with the possibility to expand the topics.
Shortlisted teams will have the opportunity to participate in a two-day mentoring program with experts and the chance to win one of six prizes of EUR 7,000 each.
To foster the innovative spirit of young people from an early age, Balkaton is also introducing two special awards for the top-ranked high school student teams, each worth EUR 4,000.
The registration process is open until 5 July 2024.
