ERA-LEARN Guide on co-funded European Partnerships

A new guide has been published by ERA-LEARN to support organisations engaging with co-funded European Partnerships, a key implementation instrument under the Horizon Europe research and innovation framework.

This essential introductory guide explains practical aspects of co-funded partnerships, including:

• How co-funded European Partnerships are structured

• Budgeting and financial considerations

• Handling conflicts of interest

• Implementing joint calls for proposals

• Monitoring and reporting activities

• Demonstrating project impact

• Real-world examples from partnership practice

Designed for newcomers and experienced partners alike, the guide bridges formal guidance and the lived experience of partnership implementation. It is a helpful resource for research institutions, national contact points, funding agencies and organisations interested in building or joining European Partnerships.

Co-funded European Partnerships play a strategic role in Horizon Europe by enabling long-term collaboration across countries and sectors. They fund joint research and innovation activities through transnational calls and help align national and EU research agendas.
