The Action Plan is one of the outputs of the ‘EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region’ approach. Its aim is to go from ‘words to actions’ by identifying the concrete priorities for the macro-region. Once an action or project is selected, it should be implemented by the countries and stakeholders concerned.
The Action Plan is informed by an extensive, bottom-up consultation process that involved a wide range of stakeholders from the Adriatic-Ionian Region representing national, regional and local authorities, but also the private sector, academia and civil society.
