Working Paper: Policy Measures Related to Mobility-Driven Research & Innovation in the New Growth Plan for the Western Balkans

The EU’s New Growth Plan for the Western Balkans highlights the need to boost research and innovation (R&I), despite growing efforts and participation in EU programmes. A SCiDEV-led working paper under the IGNITA Initiative stresses that increased public investment, enhanced researcher mobility, and inclusive infrastructure are key to reversing brain drain and driving sustainable growth.
