COST is an intergovernmental framework for European Cooperation in Science and Technology, allowing the coordination of nationally-funded research on a European level. COST contributes to reducing the fragmentation in European research investments and opening the European Research Area to cooperation worldwide. COST Actions are networks centered around nationally funded research projects.
For researchers in the Western Balkans, COST is an excellent option to join EU networks and to link up with international peers. Researchers, innovators and stakeholders can also apply to join a running action or apply to start and coordinate your own COST Action.
