Erasmus+ is the EU programme for education, training, youth and sport. The programme offers mobility and cooperation opportunities in
- higher education
- vocational education and training
- school education (including early childhood education and care)
- adult education
- youth
- and sport
Detailed information on these opportunities, including eligibility criteria, is available in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide.
For most actions, participating organisations need to be located in a “programme country” (EU Member States and a short list of other countries associated to the Programme). Some of the Western Balkans are associated (e.g. North Macedonia, Serbia were associated at the beginning of the programme). Please always check for the most updated status of associations: see the list of Erasmus+ programme countries (EU Member States (MS) and countries associated to the Programme). Several actions are open to groups of other countries non-associated to the Programme, with some particular initiatives allowing the Western Balkans to participate on equal footing.
