Systems of National Contact Points (or in some programmes they might be called National Focal Points, National Information Points or National Offices) have been established for EU funding programmes in the Member States, Associated Countries as well as some third countries with the aim of providing assistance and guidance on different EU programmes and related issues (e.g. on Horizon Europe). NCPs are persons officially nominated by the national authorities to provide tailored information in the national language(s). The NCP systems in different countries show a wide variety of architectures and a number of very different actors.
NCPs for Horizon Europe are established in all Western Balkan countries. They are the first to contact if you have any questions about specific EU research programmes. General information about their role is provided in this video published on our Youtube channel: https://youtu.be/gX2ukLnnObQ
