Research Infrastructures
INGEB’s research infrastructure includes a 3500 Genetic Analyser (Applied Biosystems) with eight capillaries and a QIAcuity One digital PCR system (5-plex) by Qiagen, integrated with the REBIDA database. This combination enables molecular biology analyses such as genetic profiling, species identification, and kinship analysis. The equipment allows for high-throughput, DNA-based testing that supports quality control, product branding, and integrity assurance in the wine industry.
