Advancing Kosovo’s Digital Transformation

Riinvest Institute has actively contributed to shaping digital agenda through multiple initiatives in Kosovo*:

• Participation in drafting the Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) and preparing a Concept Note for establishing Kosovo’s Strategic Advisory Council, proposing a Quadruple Helix model.
• Publishing a State of Play report on Kosovo’s digital transformation, has been presented on December 5th.

These efforts align with the POLICY ANSWERS project’s goals to promote digital and innovation-driven growth in the region.

• December 5, 2024: Presentation of the State of Play Report on Digital Transformation.

Riinvest Institute presented the report titled “Implementation of the Digital Agenda for the Western Balkans in Kosovo”, which presented the “state of play” researched through online sources from relevant institutions. More specifically, the research results of connectivity, digital identity, digitalization of the administration, innovation ecosystem, and building digital capacities among public officials and the general population were presented. The discussion was well-received and further enriched by comments from participants who provided their perspectives on how Kosovo’s position on the agenda could be better addressed in a regional context.
