The Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović, presented awards at a ceremony held at Villa Gorica to the most outstanding scientists: Aleksandra Klisić and Aleksandra Martinović, the most successful young scientist under the age of 30, Luka Martinović, and the inventor and innovator behind the most outstanding discovery, Trifun Savić.
A special recognition for a significant contribution to the promotion of science among young people was awarded to Ivan Martinović, a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro.
The most outstanding scientists received awards of EUR 3,000 each, the most successful young scientist was awarded EUR 2,000, while the most outstanding inventor and innovator received EUR 3,000.
The ceremony also featured video presentations in which the award recipients showcased the key findings of their research.
Attendees included representatives of the judiciary, legislative and executive authorities, the diplomatic corps, the academic, scientific research, and innovation communities, as well as representatives of NGOs, the media, and other stakeholders.
