A collection of good practices for inclusion in sports was made within the Erasmus sports project “Inclusion Reloaded” (Project No. 101089509). The collection brings together good practices in inclusive sports at the local, regional or national level in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Portugal and Serbia. For the purposes of this collection, inclusive sports practice is defined as any practice that seeks to make people of all abilities, gender, gender and sexual orientation feel welcome to participate in physical activity and sports practice.
The project “Inclusion Reloaded” is implemented by the Youth Enaming Club 018 (KOM 018) – Serbia, in cooperation with the Paralympic Committee – Serbia, Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Nis – Serbia, Beyond Borders – Italy, CESIE – Italy, Swimming Club for Persons with Disabilities “SPID” – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sports ClubSport Evolution Alliance (SEEA) – Portugal.
The project is built on 4 main pillars: ·
- Exchange of good practices and experiences of project partners and networks to increase the capacity of each partner involved.
- Joint action of all project partners on the development of new methodologies for inclusive access to sports mainly for sports and physical education teachers and staff of sports clubs.
- Practical application of the methodology of inclusive sports by sports and physical education and staff of sports clubs in local schools and sports clubs.
- The Immmunization of local communities, especially children and young people in the fight against intolerance, discrimination and social exclusion of young people with disabilities and young people belonging to vulnerable groups.
The project “Inclusion Reloaded” is implemented in the period: 01.01.2023. until 30.06.2025 and is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus sport + cooperation partnerships. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Portugal and Serbia are partners in the initiative.
