Consultation opened for future of Cohesion Policy and the EU Strategy for the Adriatic Ionian Region (EUSAIR)

EUSAIR CONSULTATIONS’ SURVEY

The consultation on the EUSAIR perspective on the future of Cohesion Policy Post 2027 is carried out within the context of a broader EU-wide effort to gather insights and recommendations for shaping the future Cohesion Policy in the next Multiannual Financial Framework.

This offers the unique opportunity to participate in the shaping of the EUSAIR perspective in order to enhance the cooperation within the Adriatic-Ionian Region and strengthen the role of macro-regional cooperation in the future Cohesion Policy.

The EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) macro-regional strategy covers ten countries: four EU Member States (Croatia, Greece, Italy, Slovenia) and six non-EU countries – among them five Western Balkan economies: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, San Marino and Serbia).

Thus, Western Balkans stakeholdesr are warmly invited to take part in the process by completing the survey.

The insights will be presented to EUSAIR Governance Bodies and will be considered in the Report to be submitted to the European Commission in December 2024. More information about the process can be found here (where the reports will also be published).

This consultation on the future of Cohesion Policy beyond 2027 is conducted by the Facility Point of the EUSAIR (IPA ADRION 2021 – 2027) together with StEP (IPA ADRION 2021 – 2027) and the support from the M&E Factory company..

Deadline to complete the survey is 22 September 2024.
