Development of the Career Guidance and Counselling Strategy 2025-2030 Begins

The first meeting of the Working Group for the development of the Career Guidance and Counselling Strategy 2025-2030 was held at the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue, the Employment Agency, and the Ministry of Sport and Youth.

In addition to the Working Group members, an independent expert also took part in the meeting, presenting the working methodology and timeline for delivering key information to support the creation of the document and its preparation for public consultation.

This strategic document aligns with the Growth Plan and aims to:

• Harmonise career counselling across all levels of education
• Connect the labour market with enrolment policies
• Reduce skills shortages in key professions

These objectives represent one of the key priorities of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation alongside broader reform measures.
