Erasmus Mundus WINTOUR Master Opens Scholarship Opportunities for Students from the Western Balkans

The Erasmus Mundus International Master on Wine Tourism Transitions and Innovations (WINTOUR) is looking for applicationsby students from the Western Balkans to join an Erasmus Mundus possibility of multidisciplinary education in wine tourism, oenology, marketing, and heritage delivered jointly by three universities: Rovira i Virgili (Spain), Bordeaux (France) and Porto (Portugal).

This year, specific funding has been allocated to attract candidates from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Montenegro (IPA region). The aim is to expand access to high-quality education and foster skills development in sustainable tourism and wine innovation across the Western Balkans.

Over two years (120 ECTS), around 26 students study across the three partner universities and complete an internship with industry partners while developing their Master’s thesis. Funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus Mundus framework, WINTOUR grants scholarships covering tuition fees and a monthly stipend of €1,400. The programme attracts over 450 applicants annually.

The call for applications opens on 17 November and remains open for one month. Applicants wishing to be considered for Erasmus Mundus Scholarships must apply within this period.
