ESINERGY Project Addressing Power Imbalance in Electrical Grids

The ESINERGY project is tackling a critical issue in modern energy technology: managing the imbalance between power generation and demand within electrical grids. This imbalance poses challenges for future energy needs, such as rising consumption and demand for renewable energy sources.

Organised by the Environmental Protection Fund (Eco-Fund), a recent presentation outlined the project’s goals, particularly its focus on implementing the EU Directive for renewable energy through improved energy storage and grid stability. The project is set to benefit stakeholders, including municipalities, businesses, households, and energy operators.

With a total project budget of €2.5 million, including €127,500 for Eco-Fund, non-pilot countries such as Romania, Serbia, and Montenegro will adopt these solutions locally, encouraging various energy producers to implement and test these innovative approaches in new settings.
