The European Youth Chess Championship 2025 concluded on 8 November in Budva, Montenegro, bringing together nearly 1,200 young players from 48 European federations. The closing ceremony was attended by representatives of the European Chess Union and the Montenegro Chess Federation, celebrating a week of high-level competition and sporting spirit.
Champions were crowned across all age categories from Under 8 to Under 18 in both open and girls’ sections. Outstanding performances were delivered by players from across Europe, with notable successes from Ukraine, Turkey, Poland, France, Azerbaijan, and several other federations. Medals were awarded to the top five players in each category in a festive atmosphere.
