[Event Review] Implementation of the European Research Area (ERA) in the Western Balkans

On 25 June 2024, the POLICY ANSWERS webinar “Implementation of the European Research Area (ERA) in the Western Balkans” took place. At first, the webinar provided some knowledge regarding the methods used for the ERA monitoring and the following implementation of the ERA by introducing the ERA Monitoring Mechanism and the ERA Policy Agenda to the participants. Afterwards, a selection of drivers and barriers regarding ERA progress of the Western Balkans ERA Country Reports was presented to show the practical approach of the ERA monitoring methods and to inform the participants about current developments in research and innovation in the Western Balkans. At the end of the webinar, the attendees had the chance to comment on the presentation and ask questions.
