The final day of the InnoFin Hackathon 2025 was held on 10 December at the Montenegro Science and Technology Park (MSTP), bringing together young innovators, fintech experts, mentors, and representatives of institutions and the private sector. The event focused on the development of innovative fintech solutions and the promotion of financial inclusion and was organised with the support of the Central Bank of Montenegro and the Ministry of Social Welfare, Family Care and Demography.
On behalf of the mentoring team, Programme Manager Radivoje Drobnjak presented an overview of the hackathon process, noting the participation of 19 teams and 62 competitors, two rounds of online mentoring sessions, and significant progress in the quality of ideas. Following a pre-selection process, ten finalist teams advanced to the final round, where they presented their solutions to the jury.
The finalists showcased a wide range of solutions, including digital platforms, AI-based tools, and applications for financial education and inclusion. The jury, comprising Zorica Kalezić, Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro; Valentina Radulović, Executive Director of MSTP; and Arnela Šabanović, representative of the Ministry of Social Welfare, evaluated the projects based on innovation, feasibility, social impact, and practical applicability.
The first prize was awarded to AIS Solutions, followed by Account4All in second place and Račun za sve in third place. A special recognition was given to the team InkluNovac, the youngest participants of the hackathon, composed of students from the “Vaso Aligrudić” Secondary School of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica.
The event concluded with the award ceremony and a commitment from the organisers to continue supporting the winning teams through the innovation ecosystem of the Montenegro Science and Technology Park and partner institutions.
