The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro was filled with energy, curiosity and inspiration as Girls in ICT Day II was celebrated.
In the Unicorn Hall of the Park, 124 girls and 15 teachers from 13 schools in Podgorica, Zeta, Nikšić, Sutomore and Petrovac gathered together with 11 mentors – young innovators, startup founders and project managers – to take their first steps into the world of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Led by outstanding instructors Marina Braletić, Project Manager at Five Group, and Anika Vilotić, young innovator and 3D designer, participants learned how to turn an idea into an innovation that brings value to the community. Through interactive workshops, teamwork and creative thinking, the girls developed concepts that clearly show that the future of innovation truly has a female face.
The event also featured a Mini EXPO: “Meet Our Heroines”, where the girls had the opportunity to speak with successful women from Montenegrin startups including Five Group, IMTM, Sentiment Scope, Solutaria, SkillsUP and Montenegro Robotics. Through developing business ideas and learning about teamwork, they discovered pathways to their own potential.
