The IDEATHON 2025 final took place on 18 December in Sarajevo, bringing together some of the most creative and motivated high school and university students from across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Working in teams and guided by experienced mentors, young innovators developed digital concepts addressing real-world challenges in the fields of HealthTech, smart cities, and creative industries. The final event showcased a range of inspiring presentations, original solutions, and forward-looking ideas rooted in technology, sustainability, and positive social impact.
After the final pitches and a thorough evaluation by the expert jury, three teams were selected as the winners of IDEATHON 2025:
1st Place – ArchiTech
A forward-thinking concept of solar-powered parking spaces that both charge electric vehicles and provide protection from direct sunlight, contributing to more sustainable urban infrastructure.
2nd Place – Smart City Vogošća
A vision of a smart urban ecosystem designed to support modern, safe, and sustainable city development through the integration of digital technologies.
3rd Place – NextVision
An innovative application for tourists that brings centuries of Sarajevo’s history to life through interactive digital storytelling.

Ideathon 2025 was organized by the Verlab Institute, IANUBIH, BH Engineering Weeks, and DMBIUBIH, with the support of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth of Sarajevo Canton.
