International Bilateral Agreements of the University of Sarajevo

The University of Sarajevo (UNSA) continues to strengthen its international presence through bilateral agreements with higher education institutions across Europe, America, Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East. These agreements enable student and staff exchanges, joint research projects, and capacity-building initiatives.

The International Relations Office manages the establishment of such agreements, whether initiated internally by UNSA staff or externally by partner institutions. Depending on the scope, agreements are signed either by the dean of a faculty or by the rector when multiple university units are involved.

UNSA also actively participates in the Erasmus+ programme, which has led to more than 200 inter-institutional agreements across Europe. While the university previously engaged through KA107, it is now broadening cooperation under KA171, opening further opportunities for international mobility and collaboration.
